Article marketing has always been one of the best ways to not only bring in free traffic to a web site or blog, but also an excellent source for building backlinks. Of course the more backlinks you have, the better you rank in the search engines. The sites that you are writing articles for, already have very high PageRank and authority in the search engines, so when they link back to your site (through your article), you are getting some free link juice.
